It’s been a long journey, but I found the place my soul adventure was taking me. To get the backstory, check out my book, Becoming Spiritual: How I Found Empowerment and Inner Peace Without Leaving the House. You can get it on kindle or paperback on amazon.
My journey led me deep into myself and then into a new inner reality and an acceptance of who I see that I am. I am a lightworker, and I am a mom. I am also a wife, a friend and a daughter. But all of my time is spent being a mom, and all of my energy and my heart, my identity comes from being a lightworker.
At least, that’s the best term that I’ve found for it. I really love this list of 20 signs you’re a lightworker. It’s a pretty inclusive word for those who are awakening spiritually and are finding freedom in a spirituality that finds insight in multiple religions, but ultimately transcends them. To me this word also encapsulates the feeling that I am new to all this. I’m not a psychic or a medium or an energy healer. But I’m also no longer a Christian, at least not anything close in the traditional sense. I am a new kind of spiritual nomad.
What I believe doesn’t fit into any neat categories. But I’ve found that I’m not alone.
Being a lightworker means that you don’t really fit in anywhere, it has it’s own blessings and challenges. And so does being a mom. And for those of us who are both a lightworker and a mom, we’re finding that being a Lightworker Mom has unique challenges all its own.
You feel that call to serve the world, to rise up, to help, to lead, to heal. But as a mom you’ve got little (and/or medium) people who need you. Kids are amazing, but they take so much time and energy. It’s a unique sort of conflicted place to live in.
But it’s also a special sort of calling, a journey and an adventure all its own. And the difference between fighting it and loving it can be the smallest, simple yet profound shift in your mindset, your perspective, and – I think most importantly – your beliefs.
I believe it really matters what you believe about yourself and the world. Who are you? Why are you here? What kind of world is this that you’ve found yourself in? Answering these questions for yourself is one thing. Answering them for clients is another. And then answering them for your children takes you to an entire new place of wrestling with everything you thought you knew.
It can be an excruciating inner journey, and yet it is the path set before us. We are lightworkers, we are also moms, and how we navigate these challenges will change everything.
Welcome to Lightworker Mom!

I believe in you. You are here to heal and to grow, but also to be and to flow. Life is beautiful and so are you. You are love. You are truth. You are light.
Love,
